What is up fam?! DJ HyFi and myself are all fired up after an epic week at Wanderlust and we cannot wait to bring the high vibe to the east coast! We will be offering our one of a kind Rockstar Yoga Practice events in Philadelphia on Thursday August, 12th and New York City on Friday August, 13th (yes Friday the 13th!). Get ready to kick some asana with Dan Wilf and DJ HyFi in this special two-hour “Rockstar Yoga Practice”. Join us as we deepen the breath, crank up the tunes, turns the lens inward, and ignite the rockstar within!

Dan will lead us through a creative and intelligent rockstar vinyasa flow – an energetic array of creative namaskars, challenging arm balances, deep hip openers, high flying inversions, and tricky transitions. During this practice, DJ HyFi will take us across a sonic landscape of groovin’ beats and lush atmospherics – infusing our practice with a steady dose of ecstatic bliss as we move deeper towards the rockstar within. This is a one of a kind yoga event that is not to be missed. Some previous practice experience is recommended, but all that’s required is an open mind, positive attitude, and a willingness to rock out!

Being a “rockstar” is something that we believe that we can all tap into via our Yoga practice. The Buddhists call the human body the great vehicle, our instrument for enlightenment, and our Yoga practice is our own way to tune up and practice with our instrument! We have all gone to concerts and watched in awe as our favorite musicians shred the most unbelievable guitar solos, or we hear about professional athletes who become “in the zone” while in the middle of a big game, and it all comes from tapping into the same source, a source that we as Yoga practitioners must seek to enter every time we step on the mat! It is the practice of opening, igniting, and harnessing that divine connection, or union with our true self, that enables us to rock out and reach our full potential in our lives both on and off the mat – and this is what Rockstar Yoga Practice is all about.
