Sadie’s Core Strength Immersions were called “One of the Top 10 Ways to Change Your Life” by New York Magazine. And they do: In one day, you’ll receive an immense amount of information–and inspiration–to help you get more benefits and empowerment from your yoga practice, and your life.
Sadie, a columnist for Yoga Journal, weaves themes of the latest anatomy findings, ancient yoga philosophy, real-world translations and action steps, and her signature Core Poses to create a mind-blowing yoga experience you’ll take with you to amplify your own practice or teaching forever.
Often, our poses are misunderstood and mis-instructed as coming from sky to earth or from the outer body inward. Sadie will share her 3-step instruction for any pose to ensure that you are getting the optimal benefits from every pose you do.
In this Immersion, you’ll move strongly, sweat and detox, listen, share and experience for yourself what immense shifts can be made by re-orienting your poses from the inside out. Specifically, we’ll cover:

Take your practice light years forward by discovering your literal inner strength! The myofascial meridian work of anatomist Tom Myers is sweeping the movement world. We now know that the muscles are interconnected in lines which affect everything about our postures, from how much strength you can access for your Crow and Handstands to how grounded you feel in your Warriors to how safe your Plank Poses and Forward Bends are. Yet, most yogis don’t use the crucial muscles of this line, and instead rely on the Superficial Back and Front Lines, less powerful areas that can put you at risk of developing tension and injury. 3:30pm-6:30pm: BREATH AND BANDHAS: IGNITE THE INNER LIFE OF YOUR YOGA POSTURES Exactly what your bandhas, or innermost support network, are will surprise you! How you breathe (and shouldn’t) in your yoga poses will transform how you activate and detox within each one. Knowing your options, and how to move the bandhas and breath in harmony instead of dysfunction will move you to a whole new level in just one session! You will flow through a complete Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga class, dedicated to sharing new information about how to most effectively integrate pranayama and bandhas within your active yoga postures!
Sadie’s groundbreaking alignment and anatomy information will help you easily understand and instantly unleash the power of the 3 bandhas and the breath.
