Taking place September 9th – 12th in beautiful Joshua Tree, CA - The 2010 line-up includes performances and teachings from Krishna Das, Jai Uttal, Dave Stringer, MC Yogi, Shiva Rea, Mark Whitwell, Seane Corn, Duncan Wong, and many more! Held at the Joshua Tree Retreat Center on 450 acres of sacred land and making use of Frank Llyod Wright designed buildings, the leading names in Kirtan, Yoga, and healing will share their inspiration and spirit. Festival go-ers will experience an abundance of kirtan on 2 stages, with over 80 hours of music by notable Kirtan performers such as Krishna Das, Jai Uttal, Deva Primal & Miten, and Dave Stringer. The country’s leading Yoga instructors will share their energy and experience with practitioners of all levels from sunrise to sunset each day in two yoga halls. Yogis and aspiring Yogis alike will have the opportunity to deepen their practice and challenge themselves with new asana styles..

All of our presenters embody the spirit of Bhakti – deep devotion.  We gather on 450 acres of inspiring desert land to express our love and devotion as one community through an enchanting array of activities, including:

Constant Kirtan Concerts, Yoga Classes, Private and Group Meditation, Vegetarian, Vegan, and Raw Cuisine, Fire Ceremonies (Pujas), Hanuman Chalisas, Camping, Cottages, and Cabin accomodations, Wellness Sanctuary with massage, reiki, channeling, and other unique healing sessions…Plus a portion of festival proceeds are donated to charitable organizations!

About the Author

Michaela lives and teaches yoga in Los Angeles, CA. Growing up as a gymnast, she was first introduced to the practice of Yoga during high school and instantly fell in love. In addition to her dedicated practice, Michaela loves music, travel, fashion, great food, great wine, and great friends - she strongly believes that laughter is the key to life!
